|The Chateau de la Villaine pays tribute to elegant French living and warm family life. The living room offer tranquil settings for relaxation in front of the fireplace.
|The comfort of the salon, with its large 17th century Aubusson, its antiques and the recently restored 1908 Bechstein grand piano, will make it difficult to leave after your stay.
|The Dining room:
A warm atmosphere of hospitality will be offered to those who decide to have dinner at our table. The served food is inspired on locally grown ingredients of which many will be supplied out of our ancient walled vegetable garden.
|The old traditional kitchen is the domain of Joke. She is well known for her specialized cooking. In 1998 she was awarded 1st prize for her culinary talents by KLM airlines.
The bedrooms, with bathrooms en suite, have been carefully restored and decorated to a timeless elegance while retaining the atmosphere of the old family house. Above all, Joke and Adrian believe that good hosting encompasses comfort and privacy and this philosophy is evident in all bedrooms.
|The Empire room:
This spacious room on the ground floor, with bathroom en suite and its 1850 empire bed, its nearly 100 year old wallpaper fresco, its own access to the terrace and its beautiful antique furniture brings you back to the richness of the 19th Century.
|The Comtesse room:
This nicely decorated room has its own direct access to a terrace overlooking the best part of the park. The bathroom en suite with its “tableau en carrelage” by the painter Boucher has been restored to all modern comforts.
|The Marquise room:
The elegantly comfortable room, with bathroom en suite, has a magnificent view overlooking the Indre valley. Situated in one of the chateau’s square towers the room opens onto a terrace from where one can enjoy a pre-dinner rest in the late afternoon sunshine.
|The Gentilhomme room: This very large L-shaped room contains four beds and has views in three different directions. The room has a bathroom en suite in one of the chateau's towers as well as a seperate additional washroom en suite.
