Chateau de la Villaine was built on the remains of a medieval castle of the late 13th Century. La Villaine is situated in the very heart of the idyllic Loire Valley seven-minutes walk from the picturesque village of Esvres. The region is known for its historic chateaux and famous wines. Cultural activities are easily accessible in the nearby city of Tours.

The Grounds:
The terrace has spectacular views of the landscaped private park. The estate extends down to the Echandon and Indre rivers. Guests are encouraged to explore the grounds which offer a balance of forest, gardens and countryside.

Inside the château, one feels the atmosphere of a private house, while having the experience of living in a chateau. The Dutch owners Joke and Adrian will do their utmost to help you share and appreciate their love for fine old buildings in general and this lovely chateau in particular.
